Is cleaning your solar panels worth it?

The answer is yes.

Energy savings can be as great as 15% to 30% per month of increased power performance. This is a service more than pays for itself.

Here is my personal video proof and a few links to satisfy anyones curiosity

Can anyone clean solar panels?

The answer is no.

Let’s look at a few of the top four reasons why.

1- In order to properly clean solar panels the use of deionized water is very crucial.

The difference between regular tap water and deionized water is that tap water contains heavy amounts of minerals.

You’ve probably witnessed this when washing your car‘s windshield.

Once the minerals from tap water are allowed to dry and harden they become very difficult to remove especially over long periods of time.

Deionized water on the other hand is achieved by the use of a special machine to remove these minerals by heavy filtration mechanisms.

The end results are crystal clear, chemical free, spotless

glass.

2- I would also like to add that I have not found one solar power company that recommends using soap or chemicals of any kind.

Reason being is that there is a protective coating on the glass.

So it is very important to not compromise that coating especially when it comes to warranty issues.

3-Another consideration is to make sure that particles such as heavy dusts and sand particles are properly removed before using a scrubbing brush.

We recommend a pre-rinse using DI water and the use of a special soft bristle brush designed specifically for solar panels.

This will eliminate any chance of permanent scratching of the glass surface.

4-Now in most situations solar panels are usually installed on the roofing portion of the house.

It is very common for roof damages to occur by simple improper foot positioning while conducting any services.

Such things as broken roof tiles or shingles will most likely result in a leaky roof.

These things usually get swept under the carpet if you get the drift.

Not mention wet glass is like a slip and slide.

Personal injury and safety precautions should be taken very seriously.

That’s why it is in our opinion we strongly recommend that you consider using a qualified professional company such as ours, instead of just anybody.

Someone licensed and fully insured.

Lastly,

I am very pleased and proud to offer the use of a completely earth friendly, nontoxic product.

It doesn't get better than leaving behind a byproduct that consists of cleaner water than what comes out of the hose as a result.
